There are 64 graduate programs at the University of Michigan-Flint. Though the Office of Graduate Programs supervises the graduate admissions process, requirements for specific programs are delegated by the programs themselves. The University of Michigan-Flint welcomes applications from prospective international students who have earned a bachelor’s degree. Learn more about applying to a UM-Flint graduate program as an international student by visiting the International Students page.
Through the Student Success Center, UM-Flint has a website called “Career Connection” that allows students to view job boards while uploading cover letters and resumes. Other services on Career Connection are mock interviews and opportunities to register for Job Fairs. Campus- wide Job Fairs are held on campus twice a year, in the fall and winter. Over 50 companies from Greater Genesee County and Southeastern Michigan come to UM-Flint to speak to students and accept resumes.
Students also have an opportunity to apply for jobs on campus through umjobs.org. Filled with work-study and non-work study positions, umjobs.org has an array of jobs opportunities between the Ann Arbor, Dearborn, and Flint campuses.
